"lights, camera, access!"

Most days, heading up these escalators is the highlight of my work day. Only because it usually means I'm so much closer to being home. Today wasn't much different. We were quite busy at work, but aside from closing later than expected the day wasn't that eventful. Just a bunch of people and a lot of fun.

On a completely unrelated night, I have the song "Nothin' on You" by B.o.B. stuck in my head, and have for a few days now. I like it.

We're getting a new couch tonight. Well, new to us. Should be really comfortable... let's hope so, anyway!

I'm about to fall asleep sitting up... goodni...

world's longest mall...

Today Richard and I took a little trip to the Del Amo Mall, which is quite possibly the largest mall I've ever seen. It's so long it has doubles of stores. There's a Burlington Coat Factory below the main part of the mall, and a Macy's in the center connecting the two halves of the mall, as well as an "Outdoor Terrace" which is really more like a second (or third, really) mall. This is complete with shops, restaurants, a bowling alley and movie theater.

We even saw an Asian tour group leaving as we got there. That's when you know it's a huge mall, when it's a stop for an Asian tour group.

community leader?

Today was eventful. Work, E-Stop, Panda Inn. Talked to my mom and sister on the way home from work. I miss them, a lot. I want to live closer to them. So I can see them everyday. Or at least once a week. Or all the time. Did I mention I miss them?

five dolla make you... dry-a?

Newly installed at Universal by Curious George. 5 bucks for 3 minutes of drying. I'm intrigued... and amazed. And I'm pretty sure it will be hilarious to watch people try and cram their whole family in it.

flat stanley

A former teacher of mine (who just had a baby yesterday!!!) has asked me to help her son with this "flat stanley." I've always been intrigued by the idea of these things, so I'm taking him all around Hollywood, LA, Santa Monica, and so on. He's even going to Las Vegas with me in April!

Today he came with me to work, so he's playing big guitars, being held captive by King Kong, and will probably have an encounter with a few dinosaurs. Busy, busy boy.

really?

I feel I don't even have to comment about this. But, I will.

How is Miley Cyrus a mentor in any way, shape, or form? She's a 16 (or 17, maybe?) year old who has a mediocre singing voice, but because she can sing along to catchy beats, she is popular. Blows my mind...

one done...

Done with TV Directing & Producing for this quarter. Definitely one of the harder but most fun classes I've been in at CCH. I adore multi-camera and if I could do that for the rest of my life I would.

One more class, still working on my last paper which, of course, is due in 3 hours. I am amazing at procrastination. There should be an award...

my first real post.

So, the plan is to post at least a picture a day, with either something I did that day, or something of note. The pictures and blogs will be mainly from my phone, via email. Hence the "Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T" at the bottom of each post. Oh, technology. So, here goes.

Today I spent a good portion of the day making this page. I get easily distracted, which accounts for the time. Although I should have spent time writing my two papers or editing together my final TV project, I did this. And went to CVS.

All around a good day. I'm hoping to update this at least once a day, so I guess this is all for today. Check ya later!
